Mojito

Refreshing Cuban cocktail made with fresh mint, lime juice, sugar, white rum, and soda water

Ingredients

  • 5 Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 1/2 piece Lime cut into 3 wedges
  • 2 Tbsp. White Sugar
  • 1 Cup Ice Cubes
  • 1 1/2 ounces White Rum
  • 1 1/2 Can Club Soda or as needed

Instructions

  • Muddle: In a glass, gently muddle a handful of mint leaves with the lime wedges and 2 tablespoons of sugar to release the mint’s aroma and flavor.
  • Add Rum: Pour in 1 1/2 ounces of white rum.
  • Ice and Stir: Fill the glass with ice and stir the mixture.
  • Top Up: Add a splash of soda water.
  • Garnish (optional): Garnish with a sprig of mint and a lime wedge.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

If white rum is not to your taste, you can substitute it with vodka of your choice.
