Classic Singapore Sling Cocktail

A rosy Singapore gin cocktail with cherry liqueur, pineapple, lime, grenadine, herbs, and bitters.

  • Tall sling or hurricane glass

Ingredients

Cocktail

  • 1 1/2 oz London dry gin
  • 1/2 oz cherry liqueur
  • 1/4 oz orange liqueur
  • 1/4 oz Benedictine
  • 4 oz pineapple juice unsweetened
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/3 oz grenadine
  • 1 dash aromatic bitters
  • 1/2 cup ice plus more for the glass
  • 1 wedge fresh pineapple for garnish
  • 1 medium cocktail cherry for garnish

Instructions

Shake and Serve:

  • Fill a tall glass with fresh ice.
  • Add the gin, cherry liqueur, orange liqueur, Benedictine, pineapple juice, lime juice, grenadine, bitters, and shaker ice to a cocktail shaker.
  • Shake hard for 12 to 15 seconds, then strain into the prepared glass.
  • Garnish with the pineapple wedge and cherry and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Fresh lime keeps the drink bright.
  • Shake firmly to create a light pineapple foam.
  • For responsible service, this recipe makes one cocktail.
