Instructions
Make the Syrup:
Combine the sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan. Warm until the sugar dissolves, then cool completely.
Mix the Drink:
Scoop the lulo pulp into a pitcher. Add the cooled syrup, cold water, and lime juice.
Gently crush and stir the pulp with a wooden spoon until the drink is evenly mixed but still textured.
Pour over ice, garnish with lime wedges, and serve immediately.
Notes
Keep some lulo pulp intact for the traditional texture.
Refrigerate the mixture without ice for up to 24 hours.
