Equipment

  • Large pitcher
  • Tall glasses
  • Bar spoon
  • Citrus knife

Ingredients

Chapman

  • 2 cups lemon-lime soda chilled
  • 1 cup orange soda chilled
  • 1/2 cup grenadine
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tbsp Angostura bitters or to taste
  • 1/2 cup sparkling water optional, to lighten
  • 2 cups ice
  • 1 medium orange sliced
  • 1 medium lime sliced
  • 1/2 medium cucumber thinly sliced
  • 4 cherries maraschino cherries

Instructions

Mix:

  • Fill a large pitcher with the ice, orange slices, lime slices, and cucumber.
  • Pour in the grenadine, lime juice, bitters, lemon-lime soda, orange soda, and sparkling water if using. Stir gently once to combine without flattening the bubbles.

Serve:

  • Divide the Chapman among four tall glasses and add a maraschino cherry to each.
  • Serve immediately while cold and fizzy.

Notes

  • For a sweeter drink, add another splash of grenadine; for a sharper drink, add more lime juice.
  • Use alcohol-free bitters if you need the drink to be strictly zero-proof.
