Hotteok are popular Korean street-food pancakes with chewy yeast dough and a fragrant molten brown-sugar center.
This home version adds walnuts and sesame to the cinnamon filling, then cooks each pancake slowly on a skillet.
Seal the dough carefully and use moderate heat so the filling stays inside while the center cooks.
Serving Suggestions
Serve warm with tea or coffee, allowing a few minutes for the hot filling to settle.

Recipe Notes
Reheat leftovers in a dry skillet or toaster oven until warm and flexible.
