Jamaican ginger beer is a bold, bracing drink made from fresh ginger, lime, sugar, and warm spice. This alcohol-free version is steeped rather than fermented, keeping the flavor bright and direct.
Fresh ginger is blended with hot water and spices, then left to steep before straining. Lime and sugar are adjusted after chilling so the drink stays lively rather than syrupy.

Strain first through a sieve and then through damp cheesecloth for a smoother drink without stripping away the cloudy ginger character.
Serving Suggestions
Serve very cold over ice with lime. It pairs well with jerk chicken, fried fish, patties, or spicy grilled food.

Recipe Notes
Keep refrigerated and use within five days. Shake or stir before pouring because natural ginger sediment settles.
