The mimosa is a bright, easy brunch cocktail made by combining chilled sparkling wine with fresh orange juice. Its gentle bubbles and citrus flavor make it a timeless favorite.
Chill both ingredients well, pour the sparkling wine first, and top with orange juice. The slow pour protects the bubbles and keeps the drink light.

Use fresh, strained orange juice and avoid shaking or stirring after pouring. A dry sparkling wine gives the best balance against the fruit’s sweetness.
Serving Suggestions
Serve in chilled flutes with a small orange twist alongside pastries, eggs, smoked salmon, or fresh fruit. For a lighter version, add a splash of soda water.

Recipe Notes
For a non-alcoholic option, replace the sparkling wine with chilled non-alcoholic sparkling wine or sparkling water. Assemble just before serving.
